One area of expertise has been within layout engineering, and for more than 10 years Majotech engineers have managed the layout department within a large facility of one major automotive OEM. This has involved the creation of layout drawings incorporating large production machinery, conveyor systems, aisle ways, etc. always ensuring that appropriate health and safety procedures are met or exceeded. Other functions have included the creation of design drawings for various material handling equipment including shipping racks, line side racking, process sketches, etc. and also the creation of technical documentation for visual aids, maintenance manuals, etc.

Quality engineering is also a key area where Majotech engineers have a proven track record within the automotive industry, and over several years we have been responsible for implementing key quality planning techniques ensuring that major projects have been installed on time, with both efficiency and first time through quality processes.

Our expertise within manufacturing engineering enables us to provide a number of services, which enable us to:

• Determine manufacturing feasibility of product designs
• Determine optimum methods and facilities for manufacturing
• Lead simultaneous engineering teams to drive cost reductions and continuous improvement, and flexibility within the manufacturing processes
